As a grant manager at The Florida Department of Education, I oversee the administration and distribution of multiple state and federal grants that support various educational programs and initiatives. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations, and monitor the performance and outcomes of grant recipients.I have a strong background in the social services and non-profit sectors, having worked as a grants and contracts specialist and a family services coordinator at The Salvation Army for over three years. I have extensive experience in writing, reviewing, and managing grant proposals and contracts, as well as providing direct services and support to individuals and families in need. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to understand and address the diverse needs and challenges of the communities I serve.I am passionate about funding life-changing programs that enhance the quality and accessibility of education and social services.
