Women hire me to go through their closets and help them edit what they have and put outfits together, according to their needs out of what they already own. We go shopping together, or I shop for them, for items that are needed to complete the versatility of their wardrobe. I reorganize closets. I style women for special events or high profile appearances. I create seasonal wardrobes and capsole vacation wardrobes.

I've been singing the National Anthem for over 20 years. I started singing for my kid's ice skating shows when a local coach heard me and passed my name along. In 1996, I sang for the University of Minnesota's baseball season. It snowballed from there. I sing the National Anthem for the University of Minnesota's: Basketball, Hockey, Swimming and Diving, Wrestling, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball and track. I am a Wardrobe Consultant for A La Mode Wardrobe Consulting. A La Mode WC serves both men and women, but I specialize in women's professional attire and plus sizes. I am invited into women's closets to go through their clothes with them. They try on as many items as possible and we look at fit and style. Is it the right fit? Is it a flattering style for their body type? Do they feel good in this item of clothing? How can we pair it with other items they have to create lifestyle useful outfits? Part of my job is to help women purge what is unproductive in their wardrobes. Creating room to see what is useful and what's needed is the goal. When we've completed working in her closet one of two things usually happen. I either shop with my client or I shop for my client; bringing items to the convenience of her home. This is a time-saving service for many women. I worked in sales and was the Trend Educational Leader at Banana Republic, MOA. I loved the environment there. I loved shopping within the store for customers and pulling looks together. One of my best days was when a customer came in whose luggage had gotten lost. She had four hours till she was to be at a dinner for recent graduates who had interned at the Mayo clinic. It was a weekend of events and a social interview for openings. She was emotional and overwhelmed. I asked her what events she would be attending? I got her sizes and called in a hair appointment down the hall for her. Within an hour, we found her a complete suit and a cocktail dress. We showed her how to break up the suit and dress to create alternate looks in more casual, versatile combos. With her clothes steamed, she was on her way! She looked fantastic! No one would ever know the panic she had felt. That was a memorable and fun day helping make this woman's rough day turn to a positive. I enjoy helping people.

I did have three songs make it to radio in private Christian Radio stations but, I chose to stop chasing this dream as my need to be home became more necessary. I still sing the National Anthem for professional sporting events and I would love to join a house band and sing blues and jazz dinner music. Someday! I am a speaker. At A La Mode Wardrobe Consulting part of my job is speaking. Presenting wardrobing tips for such companies as Cargill, United Health Group and more. Outside of my job, I have had the pleasure of speaking at women's retreats and luncheons. I share my passion for building women's personal view of themselves. I challenge women to see their beauty and stop the negative self talk.

I was the worship director at Our Savior Lutheran Church for over five years. I began leading the Sunday morning contemporary music as the lead vocalist with a band behind me. In my second year there, I moved to leading the music and team from the piano. I have a heart for people and it was my personal goal to get people involved in the church service. I believe when people get involved, they feel ownership. That is what grows communities. It was my responsibility to create a worship band each week. When I started, there were plenty of vocalist but, few musicians. The worship band transitioned from outside church musicians to inside church talent. This was exciting for me to be a part! I love encouraging others to use their talents and shine. As time progressed, these are some of the things I implemented.- Thank you dinners for the music team and volunteers.-Guitar lessons taught in the church by an outside instructor. -A monthly women's evening service and fellowship time. -Teaching a 5 week girls confirmation class. -Multi-denominational church involvement in the community. -Active kids music for the Summer VBS
