Performed real-time embedded, communication, and GUI software development on Beverage Chiller/Refrigerator/Freezer products for aircrafts’ galleys. Performed unit tests on several different Operational Flight Programs. Responsibilities included unit test and test case setup (involves coding), running unit tests, writing test reports and participating in unit test and code peer reviews. Received positive feedback from management on the quality of work and turnaround time to complete assigned unit tests.• Performed independent unit tests (in accordance with DO-178B) on each module/unit of code for the C-17 and AISF written by the software developers. The LDRA TBRUN tool was used to demonstrate statement coverage on Ada83, Ada95, C, and C++ modules. The LDRA TBRUN tool provided the test harness and stubs used in the unit test. Determined which variables needed to be set to which values in order to execute multiple paths through the code.• Performed independent unit test (in accordance with DO-178B) on each module/unit of code for the C-130 written by the software developers. The VectorCast tool was used to demonstrate statement coverage on Ada95 modules. The VectorCast tool provided the test harness and stubs used in the unit test. Determined which variables needed to be set to which values in order to execute multiple paths through the code.• Performed independent unit test (in accordance with DO-178B) on each module/unit for the C-17 written in Jovial/Assembly code by the software developers. Manually created the test drivers and test stubs since no Jovial/Assembly unit test tool exists. Also, set up the build and execute commands necessary to run the test on the VAX and demonstrate statement coverage using the RAID 1750-A simulator.

Performed real-time embedded and communication software development for Unity Network ID product and Graphical User Interface (GUI) software development for three distinct monitoring systems and simulators. Software development tasks included analysis, design, coding (using C in Windows and Linux), integration, testing, writing software requirements and verification procedures and participating in peer reviews such as software requirement reviews, code reviews and verification procedure reviews.• Developed four new features and solved several software problems for VISA I Central Monitor which was released on schedule. One feature was a major selling point for Datascope, the contract customer, and was quickly added to VISA II Central Monitor system.• Awarded Quality Award for detecting and solving over 100 software problem reports for VISA II Central Monitor within a tight deadline.• Modified layouts of different screens and printout of reports and added new user interface to the PatientNet Central Station software. Solved several software problems and project was completed on schedule.• Implemented French language support for the PatientNet Central Station software. Released and installed in France with positive customer feedback.• Enhanced Unity ID Simulator test tool by adding support for a new medical device. It worked the first time it was used with the Unity Network ID product and the integration was seamless.• Developed embedded code in the Unity Network ID code to support a new medical device. Medical device was complex and may not have been included in planned software version, however quickly designed solution, enabling addition of device support.

Software development tasks included requirements analysis, design, coding (using JOVIAL on the VAX), module and lab test and participating in peer reviews such as requirement reviews, code walkthroughs and module test reviews. • Detected and solved problems for Test Services and MDEU Control components. Uncovered and resolved many problems with the two components when learning how processes of Test Services and MDEU Control CPC’s work.• Optimized Background Communications Processing CPC code. Process was then performed at a much faster pace. Awarded Performance Award for redeveloping Aided Load functionality ahead of schedule which led to quicker performance time.• Developed the new Device Storage CPC to replace MDEU Control and Mass Storage Controller CPC’s. Received Performance Award for delivering component with a full set of functions instead of only major functional capability.
