Kathy is a clinical informatics leader with more than 25 years of experience in clinical informatics and health services research. With experience in both hands-on research and workflow integration, her passion is to transform healthcare through data-driven care redesign. As a researcher, she has extensive experience leading predictive, operational, and HEOR analysis projects for hospitals, specialty societies and government agencies as well as for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Her work includes both traditional and innovative study designs across a wide range of topics and clinical areas and has resulted in more than 100 peer-reviewed publications and/or presentations in scientific journals and conferences. ​Kathy also has a wealth of experience developing and growing strategic partnerships. In a prior role with Premier, Inc., Kathy served as data expert and lead scientist for an innovative pay-for-performance demonstration project with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services which was the predecessor to VBP.
