I have always been fascinated with math, data and number sequences. From an early age I remember memorizing license plate numbers or various personal identification numbers just for the fun of it. Today, I like to review population health data and try to improve health outcomes based on existing data or measures. I am passionate about life-long learning, mentoring, research, evidence informed practice and engaging in conversation with people who have passion for health equity and various social issues. I am a strong advocate for social justice, giving back to my community, Nursing and trying to make a small impact in this large, sometimes chaotic and very complex world.My specialties include sexual health, harm reduction, communicable disease, early childhood development, diabetes, supporting vulnerable populations, inspiring younger nurses and giving back to my community.My motto is work hard, give back and laugh often.
