I help people and organisations understand the agile mindset and the true meaning of what it means to be agile, along with the practices and techniques used commonly in agile teams. I coach people and teams to adopt the processes, techniques and qualities needed to deliver products and services that provide superior customer satisfaction and business value. In addition, I train new and experienced business analysts on the knowledge and skills needed to be an effective business analyst. With a background in software development, I have 30 years’ experience in I.T. Starting as an analyst/programmer developing IBM store solutions, I became a consultant in the '90s, and ever since I've been working with organisations both large and small to implement software solutions and process improvements. I am a seasoned business analyst with extensive experience working with teams throughout the entire SDLC, including project management, process management, in both waterfall and agile. As a dedicated mindfulness practitioner, I am passionate about seeing people and teams thrive within an environment of collaboration and harmony. Mindfulness offers many benefits to both individuals and teams resulting in more productive interactions, effective communications and valuable outcomes. I help teams integrate mindfulness practices into their agile processes and solution delivery framework. I also speak at a number of local and international agile and business conferences. My other passions include travel, writing and photography (mostly writing about my travels and taking photos of the sites). Just for fun, I study psychology and philosophy, as well as try to find the time to write my first novel.
