As a paraprofessional, I was instrumental with one other paraprofesssional in maintaining the classroom. This included creating, copying, reproducing, and laminating materials to be used in the classroom. Classroom maintainance included setup and cleanup of activities. Playground monitoring was also a part of my position. Some other classrooms had other specific duties, such as filling homework folders, recording assignments, and student poetry for publishing. Additional duties included creating gifts with students for parents (Mother's Day, Holidays). Further duties included being a chaperone for students attending the Citywide Honor Choir, and the Colorado All-State Elementary Choir. I accompanied the students on concerts on the violin as needed. Outside of the classroom, I was responsible for getting children to the bus at the end of the school day. Also, I assisted another paraprofessional in the cafeteria during lunch.

At Fisher Early Learning Center, I provided planning time for all the different classrooms on a rotating basis. This usual occured at naptime or lunchtime. The children ranged in age from six weeks to five years old. Classroom maintainance was a part of my duties including laundry and dish cleaning, as well as scrubbing tables and floors. Diaper changes were also included. Playground monitoring often coincided with planning time as well. My other duties also included creating the rotation schedule for a large playroom used on inside days.

At Flesher-Hinton Music, my first position was as the Sheet Music specialist at the Aurora location. I received and processed music orders from Aurora Music teachers for their programs, and also from private music educators. I maintained the sheet music inventory, as well as helping customers in the store. At the Denver location, I was the Choral Music Specialist, and assisted Denver Public Schools teachers with their orders. Festival music and All-State Choir music orders were some of the requests that I filled. I coordinated the order of music for the Choral Music Reading Session which was sponsored by Flesher-Hinton, and provided support at the session. I also maintained and recorded the inventory of choral music. I also assisted customers in the store and with phone orders.
