Kathy currently works at the AACA as the accreditation manager for university providers of architectural programs across Australian and New Zealand. In addition she has a role serving her local community as an elected member of Council and also maintains her residential architecture practice. She has 25 years experience in the design and implementation of a wide range of interior and architectural projects. She is a specialist in residential projects and corporate workplace. Her strengths are not limited to conceptual phase but include complex services integration and authority approval negotiations. Kathy maintains a passion for achieving excellence in design outcomes combined with a solution that is appropriate for the individuality of her clients and for the environment. She has lived and been actively connected to the local community of Lane Cove for over 10 years and was honoured to have been voted by the community to represent them in Council. Her commitment is to be engaged with the community and raise the standards of response to their overall needs. This role has broadened her experience in governance, policy and integrated planning strategies. Kathy is also a nominated panel member of the Sutherland Shire Design Review Panel working towards design excellence in the Sutherland Shire.
