I am an instructor at Colorado Technical University Online Division. I have worked in health care for over 40 years and have served in progressively responsible managerial positions. A few of the roles are: public health nurse, child health consultant, supervising public health nurse and administrator. I was the Director of a Home Health Care agency that provided Maternal Child Health services to residents of Broome County in New York State. In addition to administering the Licensed Home Care Agency, I managed four grant programs and served on the health advisory boards for Lourdes Hospital Home Care Agency and Family Enrichment Center.I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from D’Youville College in Buffalo New York and a Master in Business Administration in Health Care Administration from Colorado Technical University. I have been an Adjunct Instructor for Broome Community College, Binghamton New York and New York New Jersey School of Public Health. I have given presentations to Local and State Professional Agencies on various topics concerning Public Health. I hold an active Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State and maintain continuing education credits in this area of licensure. I serve as a Board Member on the New York State Nurse Advisory Committee for March of Dimes. I am a member of the Professional Nurses Association of South Central New York and the Capital District Women's Golf Association. I have a passion for learning and remain very interested in the changing education and health care industry. My hobbies include gardening, golf, bowling and travel. My goal is to visit all 50 of the United States (I have 23 to go). I enjoy seeing the National Parks when I spend time in the various States. Last, but not least I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two wonderful grandchildren.
