• Serve as a strategic and tactical support role for various initiatives surrounding employee engagement, enrichment, and loyalty by way of a data-driven approach through diagnosing business problems• Evaluate and advise of programs and/or strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of ISC's human capital• Implement new hire orientation, provide select training(s) for new hires and coordinate implementation of designated training programs for new employees• Conduct various types of interviews/focus groups; Synthesize information and provide feedback to Head of HR• Ensure effective talent management including recruitment, assessment, and development as the organization grows through acquisitions and organically• Responsible for remaining up to date on relevant US, and state employment laws and other HR compliance issues• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance• Serve in "lead" capacity and provide guidance to the Human Resources team• Support and actively engage in any other Generalist team tasks and initiatives as needed

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for California and non-California employees through ADP WFN• Process monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses • Participate in developing organization guidelines/procedures, and SOP's pertaining to HRIS, onboarding/termination process, and training• Assist with the recruitment process including collaboration with the hiring manager, posting job ads, scheduling assessment tests, and scheduling interviews• Responsible for on-boarding new hires including offer letters, background checks, preparing new hire documents and any necessary follow-up• Assist with benefits administration including adding, changing and deleting employee information, reviewing invoices for accuracy, participation in Open Enrollment, and the approval of Qualified Life Events and Special Enrollment Periods• Responsible for employee separation procedures including processing final payroll check in accordance with state law, assistance with generating COBRA notices, canceling health insurance (if applicable) and terminating in Payroll/HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now)• Maintain employee files and I9's• Update ADP company homepage as needed with company announcements, events and health and wellness• Assist with company event planning and administration• Assist with monitoring leave of absence requests and time off balances• Monitor and audit time and attendance system in ADP WFN
