• Supervise and mentor Ancillary team and provide support to the broader Network Strategy team• Provide guidance, oversight, and feedback on team's cost/utilization analysis and counter-proposal development • Provide hands-on training on all aspects of contract processes, management and implementation• Oversight of providers contracts including, but not limited to, Skilled Nursing, Rehab and Long Term Acute Care Facilities, Durable Medical Equipment, Laboratory, Radiology, Chiropractic, Vision, Hospice and Specialize Personal Assistance• Assure network adequacy of required services meeting all regulatory requirements and strategic initiatives• Lead/ assist with complex problem resolution involving contract configuration, operation or contractual interpretations• Solid understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodologies• Assist Executive leadership with high-priority corporate projects, CMS requirements and department initiatives• Lead and/or participate in cross-functional meetings, training and projects specific to the Ancillary team

• Negotiate and manage Acute Care Facility and Health Systems, Federally Qualified Health Centers and primary care contracts• Responsible for contract integrity of all delegated, capitated primary care contracts • Support executive leadership in high-level negotiations and complex contracts• Operationalize and implement negotiated contracts with Claims Department • Responsible for contract modeling summaries, proposal analysis and counter-proposal development • Accountable for targeted recruitment/expansion efforts for the state• Represent department for Provider contract discussions, orientations and operational meetings• Active participant in task force work groups to support market development, membership growth and CMS compliance• Develop and maintain standard operating policies and procedures to provide departmental guidance, accountability and consistency

Greater Boston Area

• Interpret, negotiate and execute Provider contracts for MassHealth, Commonwealth Care and Commercial products, realizing financial efficiency, integrity of the network and rights of the membership• Strategize with NHP’s Contract Finance team for cost containment and reimbursement arrangements within pre-determined targets• Serve as an internal and external liaison for Plan policies, operational workgroups, pay-for-performance programs and contractual obligations• Maintain accuracy of Provider contracts with various internal departments such as Claims, Contract Finance, Configuration, Medical Management and Provider Relations• Participant in critical network development project, increasing statewide presence for provider and membership growth, successfully adding over 1200 new providers
