Academic at RMIT University with expertise in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) including negotiation and mediation. I have experience as a lawyer and also as a mediator practicing in workplace, community and court connected disputes. Since 2023, I have taken up the role of Associate Deputy Vice Chancellor, Learning, Teaching and Quality in the College of Business and Law. I lead the learning and teaching portfolio including governance, student satisfaction and program innovation. Formerly I was Dean, Graduate School of Business and Law (2018-2022) where I led a high performing school that was focussed on industry connection in research and pedagogy. I have taught ADR related subjects for many years, contributed to the ongoing development of the RMIT Juris Doctor program and led the establishment of the undergraduate law program. I am a longtime researcher in ADR practice and education and have been a member of the Australian Dispute Resolution Advisory Council and the ADR research network. In 2020 I received the RMIT Vice Chancellor's award for Leadership in the category of Imagination for my innovative practices. In my leadership roles I have focused on developing transformative student experiences, including in blended learning, and the use of emergent technologies in professional contexts.
