Kathy Douglas, RN, MPH-HA is a nurse, entrepreneur, healthcare executive, author and filmmaker. She has been on the executive team of multiple tech start-up companies specializing in translating market opportunities into products and services, building high performing teams and managing rapid growth. Kathy was feature on the cover of Nurse Leader magazine as a Leader to Honor. Her most recent project is creating a community where Nurses can support each other called TheNursingWay.comAs a producer her film NURSES If Florence Could See Us Now has had critical acclaim and substantial success since it was released in 2012. She is Producer and Director of the film The Song Within Sedona and Executive Producer and Director of the film Finding Compás an exploration of the role art can play in healing grief. Kathy is co-founder of the women owned and operated film production company Wise Women Circles. She is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and Stanford Business School’s Executive Program.
