As one of three founding board members, developed the Chicago Photography Center from concept through launch, then day-to-day operations. This included developing the mission and vision, gaining 501(c)3 status, hiring and managing staff, leasing and developing temp and permanent properties to house the program, launching classes and developing related marketing programs and materials.

Established the firm’s first global recruitment marketing function to apply integrated marketing expertise to meet aggressive recruiting goals (~15,000 new hires annually). Responsible for creating market strategies that leveraged the equity of the company brand while clearly and positively positioning the firm with target recruits. Led a team of 25 marketing professionals in 16 countries that created global recruiting messages and materials that were “transliterated” for local use based on prioritized message relevance, country culture, hiring practices, demand for specific skills, and language. This built on my work as Andersen Consulting’s director of Business Integration Marketing for the Americas, launching the first recruitment marketing team in the US and Canada as well as directing thought leadership marketing in the Americas.
