I am a CPA and finance team leader specializing in building bridges and creating efficient business processes. I am fascinated by how markets and people impact business strategy.History:I received my BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington. After 5 years in public accounting, I moved to the private sector and became the Controller of University Village in Seattle, Washington. University Village is a premier outdoor shopping center in Seattle with approx. 400,000 sf over 23 acres (at the time). At Bentall Kennedy I started as the US Controller managing corporate and property accounting for the US Real Estate Services division covering over 3,000,000 sf in Seattle and Bellevue, WA. I added corporate accounting for the US Investment Advisory division in July 2010 and in March 2012 I was promoted to VP, Corporate Finance. I also provided technical accounting and finance support for Reiner Communities, a 15 property, and growing, tax-credit funded low-income housing program in California. Reiner Communities was formerly known as Bentall Residential.In 2013 I joined the team at Kemper Development Company and in 2017 we opened the Lincoln Square Expansion mixed-use project. This project added 172,000 sf of Retail, 711,000 sf of Class A+ Office, 245 hotel rooms under the W flag, and 218 luxury apartments to The Bellevue Collection.
