Managed a staff of four accountable for investigating and responding to employee and labor relations issues. Lead spokesperson for seven Collective Bargaining Agreements. Strategic partner to the University's EEO/Affirmative Action Officer and Legal Counsel when invesitgating/responding to agency charges and lawsuits.

Served as liaison between the department manages and union business representatives for employee and labor related issues. Counseled management regarding the appropriateness of corrective action, including suspensions and terminations. Participated in effecting reduction in force events. Mediated and facilitated arbitration of disputes between employees and management. Served as a strategic member of the labor negotiation teams.

Responsible for conducting union grievance hearings, including rendering the written decision. Co-designed and/or facilitated numerous employee/labor related training workshops. Managed all aspects of the organization's employee recognition program.

Responsible for counseling current, former, and potential employees on the University's benefits programs. Chief administrator for unemployment and worker's compensation benefit programs. I was recognized as an expert presenter of University-sponsored benfits programs which enabled new employees to make appropriate and timely benefits elections. Created and implemented a comprehensive process that was used to prepare supervisors and managers to be efficient during unemployment hearings.

Responsible for ensuring MBA students satisfied all graduation requirements. Confirmed degree status with the faculty and prepared the degree documentation. Prepare and confirm name reading list for the Dean.
