Manage assignee’s expectations by providing ongoing counseling and guidance on all elements of the client’s global policy and authorized allowances. Manage all supplier services (i.e. immigration, shipment of household goods, destination services, international tax, housing vendors, car services, language training, cultural training, etc.) for timeliness and high level of employee and client satisfaction. Input and monitor all details for each case file within Assignment Pro and GlobePointe systems.

Location Evaluation Reports - Analysis of hardship locations worldwide. Compiled reports and consulted clients on hardship conditions impacting expatriates while on assignment in a given city. The LERs covered a concise overview of 14 categories including political violence and repression, crime, disease and sanitation, medical facilities, education facilities, housing, pollution, climate, availability of goods and services, infrastructure, political and social environment, culture and recreation facilities, physical remoteness, and communication.

Responsible for working on global consulting projects, specializing in the development and review of international assignment policies and compensation programs. This includes benchmarking projects, opinion surveys, assignment cost projections, custom reports, etc. Advised multinationals on international pay practices and developed a wide variety of expatriate and local compensation packages for clients. Taught international compensation seminars and conducted seminars on trending matters impacting international programs for both client and non-client groups.

Served as US Representative for Global Expatriate Management Team for Bayer CropScience.Responsible for all assignment related policy provisions including smooth coordination between home and host country management, employee relocation, housing, international payroll, immigration, tax, etc. for approximately 100 expatriates, foreign nationals, international permanent transfers, and foreign interns. Involved with the integration process of Bayer and Aventis. This included such items as: analysis of the differences in expatriate policies and the impacts on our current expatriate groups, immigration matters and filing amended visas, system changes and how the expatriates are set up in the two payroll systems and benefit schemes.

Served as US Representative for Global Expatriate Management Team. Oversaw 52 expatriates and foreign nationals in 6 countries with a budget of approximately 5 million dollars. Managed performance and cost to contracts of outsource providers including tax, immigration/legal, benefits, and international relocation. Facilitated all merger-related immigration (legal) and contractual agreements for foreign nationals and expatriates of former Rhone-Poulenc and AgrEvo. Headed the ProActive Committee, a team focused on preparing HR-related processes, communications and events for acquisition by Bayer.
