The Director of Benefits and Provider Pricing Administration is a critical leadership role at Dean Health Plan serving essentially as the primary point to health plan internal operations. This key role develops and maintains team expertise for the business functionality of system components necessary to install and service provider demographics and contract reimbursement, group and individual benefit administration, premium billing and member enrollment within multiple product lines and across DHP entities.This position identifies efficiencies to enhance operations, reduce operational cost, and standardized best practice across the functional areas of responsibility. Directing and developing the division’s workflows, policies and procedures, equipment, staff training and performance metrics to support existing and new business process. A strong partnership is maintained with IT, business peers, and executives as this role influences the operations strategic quality improvement directives.The position is responsible for a team of 60 – 70 employees, including the Director of Membership and Billing.
