Katherine Kirbo currently serves as the Executive Director of the Reef Ball Foundation, an international environmental foundation that restores coral reefs, marine habitats and provides educational programs for the preservation of the ocean ecosystems. She was the founding director and worked to establish it as a 501(c)3 organization in 1997. Today, the foundation has more than 8,000 projects around the world in over 80 countries.
