Working with individuals diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities/diagnoses and their families by providing supervision of 1:1 ABA behavior technicians, including training for ABA procedures and protocols, implementing discrete trials and use of natural environment teaching, collecting and inputting accurate client data, and fostering client independence. Provide parent training and support, including developing individualized parent goals that are measurable. Conduct behavioral and developmental assessments, write treatment plans with correlating client goals and objectives, progress reports, and behavior intervention plans for behavior reduction, including proactive and reactive measures related to function(s) of behavior. Teach client replacement behaviors and develop their ability to functionally communicate to express wants, needs, and preferences. Increase client overall ability to communicate through use of PECS, visual supports and other modes of communication (vocalizations, sign language). Monitor client progress and adjust treatment accordingly while considering client autonomy and other ethical considerations. Conduct Performance Reviews for Behavior Technicians. Use of BIPTrack electronic data collection system.

Supervise and train ABA Therapists in ABA strategies, techniques, and protocols, including support with obtaining their RBT requirements, conduct initial intake assessments and FBAs, write individualized behavior treatment plans with targeted goals and objectives, analyze data collection and adjust client treatment accordingly, provide parent ABA training/support, write progress reports and provide necessary updates to various insurance providers, partake in interviewing and hiring process, collaborate with outside agencies and teams of professionals to achieve optimal results and promote generalization of skills.

Supervise and train Behavior Technicians in ABA methodologies, techniques and protocols, conduct initial assessments and FBAs, write individualized treatment plans based on assessments with targeted goals and objectives, analyze data and make treatment adjustments accordingly, provide ABA support/training to caregivers and families, write progress reports, provide necessary updates to insurance providers, partake in interview-hiring process and collaborate with other service providers to promote generalization of skills.

I have worked for several years in an ABA/VB Classroom and am currently providing behavioral support and strategies in a language-based classroom setting. I have an extensive background of working with children who are primarily non-vocal build their functional communication skills and develop their overall level of independence through teaching them ADL (activities of daily living skills) and self-management techniques.

Use principles of behavior to write and develop behavioral support plans and procedures, oversee and train staff working with clients as well as provide and support their caretakers with implementing positive behavioral strategies to increase generalization of taught skills, create and visually analyze graphs in Excel, write progress reports and oversee quarterly meetings to discuss client progress and goals.
