My current position is Buyer with Alemite, SKF. My last position was at SnapOn Tools as a Material Supply Specialists. My job entailed receiving and transferring of material and supplies from both internal and external sources. My main responsibilities was to assist the assembly line to meet deadlines, perform different processes in material manufacturing.I have 20 years business and purchasing experience. I worked for Snap on Tools from July 2015 until April 2017. Bell Helicopter from September 2013 until July 2015. Prior to that, I worked 14 ½ years at Moorings Park, a retirement facility in Naples Florida. In the last year I assisted in updating vendor information in Visual (MRP), processing requisitions, purchase orders and invoice reconciliation.I have a Master Degree in Business Management and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business / Electronic Commerce. At Bell I purchased parts and supplies for the production and manufacturing of helicopters in several different locations. During my career with Moorings Park (MP) my main focus was medical supplies and equipment, however I worked in several areas cross training to further my experience. My purchasing knowledge is extensive; this includes: aeronautical supplies; such as, landing gear, hardware, adhesives, paints. Prior to that I purchased medical supplies, equipment, appliances, communication equipment, office supplies, and more. I have negotiated overriding agreements for aeronautical supplies and contract pricing for copy machines, utility carts, and mailing machines. I have negotiated validity pricing with select vendors for price protection on the products we supply for MP residents. Working diligently to ensure the best quality product is acquired at the best price.
