I have a great love of the land and forests. I studied Forestry at the Australian National University as a trainee forester and was fortunate to graduate with honors studying Aboriginal Forest Management of the River Red Gum Forests. I have been lucky to work in many different management roles in the forestry profession including timber harvesting, sales, plantations, Regional Forest Agreements, planning, road and bridge construction and fire.I now have the privilege to lead a specialist team as Senior Manager, Country & Community for the Forestry Corporation of NSW specializing in forest based tourism, community partnerships, public land administration and development, commercial extractive industries, Aboriginal cultural heritage protection, forest health and Country management with Traditional Owners. My strongest passion is to restore traditional land management practices alongside modern techniques by working together with Aboriginal communities and facilitating outcomes for positive community involvement in forest management. I will always remain in awe of our Eucalypts and their amazing timbers.
