I started in radio as a teenager. I'm probably most known for being on KWHL for close to 20 yrs. Amongst which I left for a bit to be the first Program Director of KNBA. We were the 1st Native American owned radio station in an urban area. I also helped train up and coming broadcasters at the Alaska Native Youth Media Institute. I hope my grandfather, a former President of the Alaska Native Brotherhood, would have been proud.I can honestly say that being the Music Director of KWHL was the most fun job a girl that loved rock music could ask for. One of my favorite projects was hosting and producing "Hear and Now" during the 2000's. I even won a few awards along the way. You can find me on Country Legends 100.9fm in Wasilla, Alaska these days. It's ironic that my first job was on a Country station and it seems like I've come full circle. I'm the Morning Personality and Public Service Director at a Classic Country station. Both of which help me in my quest to make my community a better place.Being that I have a bit of time left in my day after I get off the radio at 10am, I discovered another outlet for my creativity. I learned how to create Custom Mobile Apps. Yep, I'm even a registered developer with Apple and Google. I can make Apps for your iPhone, iPad, Android, heck even Blackberry and Windows. From design to hosting to updating, I do it all. So, if you've ever thought about having your own App for your business, let me show you what I can do for you. I have examples and references.I've also found myself doing a lot of volunteer work over the last few years. From helping further the sport of Snowboarding with the United States of America Snowboard Association in the mid-90's, to sleeping outside in a cardboard box with Family Promise Mat-Su to benefit homeless families each year, to joining the board of directors for the United Way in the Mat-Su Valley.
