After having a successful career in the engineering field, I had the opportunity to change lanes, and I took it. As the first employee at Voice Solutions, I was instrumental in building the company from the ground up. When Voice Solutions was acquired by Spectrio, it had grown to over 5000 accounts with over 10,000 services with a value of over $10MM. Always looking for a new challenge, I decided to focus on my passion for defense and enter the Cybersecurity field. As I make this next career change, it's my goal to move back to the technical field.I'm self-motivated, willing to figure out what needs to be done, and then do it. The ability to create a path where there isn’t one makes my adrenaline kick in. For me, it’s never a question of can I figure it out; it’s having the drive and commitment to take on the unknown, map out a plan and see it through to successful completion. I employ tactics such as seeking out subject matter experts and relying on proven best practices, yet I am never afraid to forge a new road by trying something innovative when it makes sense.Taking a product from a sketch drawing to seeing it come to fruition is amazing to me. I am the very definition of the words Engineer, Entrepreneur, Leader. My entire career has revolved around being in roles that require me to think for myself in the most efficient and creative manner possible. I am always prepared to address the angles, risks, or roadblocks that projects encounter. I use challenges and obstacles as an opportunity to improve the process or workflow to make it more efficient. I am an engaged leader, team builder, coach, and mentor because my goal is to help people learn, grow, and succeed. My success is built on teamwork, empowerment, and sharing knowledge. Contributing to the growth and success of my teams and leading them to exceptional performance is a responsibility I take very seriously.
