Changing Tracks is a 501C3, not for profit, Faith Based Equine Assisted Learning program offering services to individuals, families, groups and corporations.Life is a series of experiences and opportunities. Those experiences and opportunities are what unknowingly shapes and forms us. They effect how we live, who we are, choices we make, and who we become. Unfortunately many are thrown off track by painful, negative and unjust experiences. Living in disappointment, addiction or abuse becomes a “normal” that steals and destroys our God given value. Change seems impossible. With God’s help, Changing Tracks offers the opportunity to transform paralyzing experiences into new opportunities of hope and healing. We believe the horses are a powerful tool used by a powerful God and His Holy Spirit. Together they are partners that are changing lives. Whether you are experiencing deep inner conflict or you simply want to experience life more fully, Changing Tracks can help you discover, learn, heal and grow. Traditional Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is experiential learning with the use of horses. During an EAL session clients participate in a planned activity with the horses. The activity provides interaction creating an opportunity to learn about yourself as you connect with them. Horses give immediate, honest feedback and respond to our non-verbal communication. Each session concludes with the chance to process “what just took place”.Faith Based EAL is grounded on Biblical faith in Jesus Christ. It applies the Word of God and invites the facilitation of the Holy Spirit to actively direct each session in addition to using traditional EAL. FBEAL addresses our deepest need as triune beings created in the image of God. This philosophy speaks to the body, soul, and spirit, realizing that only God is able to heal the heart of mankind, restore brokenness, and create positive change.
