I want the world to be better because I was here. I’m a translator. I take highly complex information across diverse scientific disciplines and simplify it into powerful messages that are quickly and easily understood by major stakeholders. It’s a critical business skill I've use to convey information to government officials, Congress, the White House, universities, national labs, industry, small businesses, the aerospace industry, multimillion dollar legal trials, and the global public- especially American taxpayers. I love people and puzzles. I’ve always enjoyed talking with people about their diverse passions and areas of expertise. The puzzle is how to connect them to others who can help them, as well as those they might be able to help. I've created successful interdisciplinary partnerships, communications, public exhibits, and events that are a direct result of enjoyable collaborations with scientists, researchers, engineers, corporations, educators, attorneys, medical professionals, and major science and technology museums across the U.S.I’m an unapologetic science geek. I’ve never met a science I didn’t like. I’ve shared that passion for science through inspiring the next generation of scientists, researchers, explorers, and dreamers through my work. It is vitally important to the future technological success of the U.S. to make science accessible to the public and to significantly increase science literacy in creative ways. It's also important to show the potential for spin off technologies for global benefit. I’ve created numerous collaborations, STEM and STEAM events, and opportunities that have positively impacted the general public, educators, and students. I’m an award-winning visual communicator who understands the nuances and impacts that strategic visual storytelling can have on audiences. The most powerful statements are not made with words alone. The human brain is hard-wired to retain more visual information. With an estimated 70% of people being visual learners, it’s never been more important to create visually rich content, supported by impactful writing, that is not only easy to understand but could have the potential to... change the world.
