As the spokesperson for the hospital, I maintain excellent relationships with key stake holders and partners in the community. I plan and execute strategic initiatives ensuring growth in the brand and all programs. My primary focus is to ensure continued support at the local and regional level. With a focus on generating new ideas, overseeing key marketing goals and events and developing essential outreach programs, the hospital continues to be recognized in its target markets. Finding connections with new partners has enabled the hospital to continue to grow and has resulted in new programing and service lines. I created and implemented the area’s only senior outreach program growing membership to 120 senior organizations. Also, I represent the hospital in numerous community leadership roles chairing and serving on boards, committees and events.

I took over a failing volunteer program and turned around, creating a recruitment program that resulted in an applicant waiting list. Planning and executing new policies and procedures as well as providing a high level of job satisfaction for the current volunteers, I saw an increase in performance and engagement. I managed all aspects of the program including supervision and evaluation. Additionally, I managed paid pastoral care staff and pastoral care volunteers as well as internships, shadowing and visiting groups. I also assisted with the management of the gift shop and ran all internal fundraisers. I served on a local and regional level in leadership roles and wrote a grant for a one of kind wheelchair training video which I wrote, directed and edited for use in hospitals.

Serves on advisory board serving the professional development of women. The organization connects, inspires and educates women to help them advance personally and professionally. Previously served as Vice-President of the board responsible for membership growth, governance, public relations and engagement, media relations and operations of the organization.

Board member of arts/culture organization that promotes art and art appreciation in the Cuyahoga Falls and surrounding area. Assist with engaging key community partners, building relationships and ensuring art is included at events and in relevant conversations.

I assisted with the establishment of new non-profit including securing the 501-c-3. I created a donor program which included several fundraisers, corporate sponsorship and donations, annual giving and memorial gifts. Creating all marketing content, I directed all out going correspondence and media relations. Under my role, this new profit had rapid growth in community awareness and brand recognition.

Together with the director, I successfully turned around the failing organization by increasing revenue, decreases expenses and improving relationships with donors, volunteers, media and the community. I directed all donor relations including fundraisers, annual giving and early stages of the capital campaign. I created all marketing content including the plan and execution of the first, full color newsletter. As the assistant director, I was responsible for supervising staff and operations. I often acted as the key spokesperson delivering speeches and presentations on behalf of the organization. I assisted with press releases and did interviews with the media. As the development director, I served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals Board and chaired their education day several years in a row.

I provided counseling for victims of rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence. I collaborated with other agencies including the courts, other mental health organizations as well local and regional organizations serving women and children. Often I worked with women through all stages of the rape process including hospital exam and court visits. I regularly spoke on behalf of the organization on topics related to rape, sexual abuse and safety/prevention.
