Alberta Energy Regulator (AER)(formerly the ERCB), Drayton Valley Field Centre 16 years of field inspection experience with primary focus in the pipeline discipline.Secondary focus in the production discipline. Experienced in inspection of drilling, servicing and waste management facilities.Pipeline subject matter expert in the Drayton Valley Field Centre. Regularly advise inspectors and industry representatives throughout the province, on pipeline technical questions with respect to the Pipeline Act, Regulations, CSAZ662 and Directive 077.Team lead of the Pipeline Inspection Manual rewrite.Excellent at identifying regulatory non-compliances or inadequacies in pipeline systems and pipeline construction phases, pipeline integrity management and change management issues, root cause failure analysis, industry education and awareness.Contributing participant of the Alberta Pipeline Safety Review recommendations teamPipeline Provincial team – actively involved in critical template letter revisions, new procedure development, identifying problems or gaps in consistency and effectiveness and developing solutions, mentoring inspectors in the pipeline discipline and other inspection disciplines.Provide technical support and advice to AER inspectors throughout the province, Corporate Compliance, Applications, Operations, CAR, ADR, at open houses and synergy groups. I have assisted ESRD and Environment Canada in collaborative investigation and enforcement efforts. Have established and engage with other Field Centers, Operation group, Application and communications to provide consistency and reach operational goals. Represent the AER in the Alberta Common Ground Alliance (ABCGA).
