I am passionate about the student experience believing that education changes lives for the better. Working in an evidence based team, we use research and data to inform the strategy for engaging our online students to succeed. As Student Experience Manager I am responsible for developing student engagement initiatives that improve the experience and retention of our students. My role, to passionately enhance lives through education, encompasses:Managing the Student Experience to:• Map the student journey to identify student expectations, attrition funnel, pain points and evidence based interventions that will impact and improve the student experience• Monitor and improve the end to end student experience across all OES partners - UG, PG and VET • Manage key platforms that support the student experience ie. Student2Student informal learning platform, the Student Hub• Develop engagement strategies to build student connections, belonging and peer support• Drive and interpret research and analytics to understand impact and value of interventions on learning, progression and completions• Make decisions based on evidence through identifying initiatives/interventions that have the biggest impact on student engagementWorking across the Business to:• Communicate the student experience and insights strategy, the activities and reporting of results• Create transparency and alignment of team projects (research, product, analytics) with the goals of the business• Initiate, develop, communicate and oversee the implementation of interventions that impact the student experience and retention• Collaborate on initiatives across the business that impact the student journeyWorking with the Student Experience & Insights team to:• Lead a team to manage the implementation of key student facing strategies - Student Mentor Program; Informal learning platforms; Study Buddies; No.1 Supporter Program• Use predictive modelling to set the strategy for support teams• Assist with team processes to ensure collaboration and cross functional input • Continuous improvement of delivery processes • Manage stakeholder relationshipConsidering the future to:• Ensure future student needs and technology are forefront to ensure student experience remains relevant and innovative
