I was originally asked to create the very first line of toys for this amazing company and it went so well that Suzi Allman, of CharlieDog & Friends, asked me to continue to develop their other lines. At CharlieDog & Friends, I have the opportunity to be creative by brainstorming and designing new toys as well as interacting with customers and using social media to create awareness about both pet adoption/shelters and CharlieDog & Friends toys! During the creative process, I start with a concept, sketch the ideas and create color renderings in Adobe Illustrator. Once the the toy is approved, I provide a spec sheet, specifying measurements and fabrics to send to the factory for production. I have had the opportunity to make prototypes for several members of the CharlieDog gang by hand... so fun! My prototype process involves taking the design for the toy and creating a pattern for sewing. I then choose fabrics, cut and sew the pieces to make the toy come to life. I have been working with CharlieDog & Friends since 2011. It's an amazing company working for a great cause. Each toy is based on a real life shelter animal and proceeds from sales goes to the shelter that animal is from!!!

Working with the creator of Yoee Baby, Jillian Lakritz I designed a line of toys for babies. I took the concept from the sketching stage right through to color renderings in Adobe Illustrator and then made a prototype of each character in the line by hand. Once the prototypes were done and all details worked out I provided Yoee Baby with the proper spec sheets required to send off to the factory to mass produce these toys. This adorable line of baby toys will be available soon and I can't wait... I loved working on these toys!!!I

At Dream Makers I am in charge of all art and design for toys as well as hang tags and packaging. I am able to be creative, brainstorm about new ideas for toys for children and pets. I take the creative process from brainstorming to color renderings both in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop as well as preparing spec sheets for the factory. I often work on patterns in repeat in Adobe Illustrator for doll clothes and other various components of the toys we develop there. I have designed thousands of toys with Dream Makers many featured in publications such as Parents magazine. The toys that I have developed with Dream Makers are sold in stores such as, Toys R Us, Walmart, Family Dollar, Target, Carter's, Little Miss Matched, Pet Smart, Pet Co and many more.

At Small Horizons an imprint of New Horizon Press, I have had the opportunity to illustrate several children's self help books. These books are currently featured on their website and I'm so happy and proud to say my vibrant and fun illustrations are helping children with important issues such as, separation anxiety, fear of change, making life adjustments, sharing and acceptance, and childhood obesity, weight loss and health care.

Editorial Illustration

While at Berenter, Greenhouse & Webster I assisted the creative team by providing marker comps, sketches and storyboards for catalogs, commercials and signage. Some of the clients I worked on there were, Party City, Bed Bath & Beyond, V-Tech, Egglands Best, Auto Zone and many more.
