ASC is a vital STEM resource to the schools, teachers and students throughout Arizona with 6,000 teachers receiving professional development training through the Freeport-McMoRan Center for Leadership Learning at ASC. Last year secured $1.3M from the Arizona Department of Education (ADOE) in support of Camp Innovation; a summer camp with activities throughout the state for free to all students. This year, secured $2.5M from ADOE in support of teacher professional development in teaching STEM courses. Additionally, we raise $3.4M in gifts from individuals, corporate and private foundations. Personally presented over 40 grants to private, corporate and Tribal Community Foundations as well as government agency funding opportunities.

Initiated new conversations with multiple local foundations including Piper Trust, Flinn, AZ Community Foundation regarding donor advised funds. Many of these necessitated collaboration with ASU Foundation to identify priorities across ASU. Additionally, advanced relationships with multiple corporate partners aligned with Executive Education including the lead proposal of $1.6M to the country of Oman for a Center for Executive Leadership Training.
