Responsible for overseeing the entire production of pastries, breads, sweets, fillings and toppings, including their design, creation, execution and presentation. Supervises and manages the entire pastry staff. Ensure the recipes that have been created are being executed correctly, and oversee that quality control measures are being adhered to daily. Responsible for managing the labor costs of the pastry department; determining how many staff members are needed for each shift; and adjusting this number according to demand and profitability.

Responsible for the overall performance of the Bakery department. In addition to managing the daily output and display of bakery products, responsible for reducing costs, hiring and training new employees, monitoring product quality and consistency. Tasked to track inventory and manage bakery budget. Track and report department sales numbers, labor projects and productivity levels to senior management. Interact and maintain relationships with outside vendors. Work collaboratively with other members of management team to set and achieve goals for the whole department.

Ran the highest volume and full production bakery in Tom Thumb. Created several cake programs including wedding and birthday cakes. Consistently achieved all financial targets. Initiated personnel actions for staffing and discharges. Inspected supplies, equipment and work areas for conformance to standards.
