Ever since my first publishing job on the start-up team of Elle magazine, I’ve brought an entrepreneurial mindset to content creation of every size, shape and form. Both metrics and audience driven, I have launched and re-invented brands, created award-winning new products and conceived and steered complex multiplatform programs for media giants, institutions and brands (i.e. Meredith, News Corp, Advance Digital, Hearst, New York University and Directv). I love helping companies grow, develop stronger relationships with their customers and expand to new markets. My process? I have deep experience in women’s service, health and wellness (my absolute passion), television, parenting, and fashion and beauty for real women. (My first act was leading creative teams at prestigious national publications, serving as Editor-in-Chief for several.)Professionally, I relish a challenge -- starting something from scratch, translating strategic goals into consumer action, new business development. When Advance Digital tapped me to reinvent 20 newspapers in 15 markets as the company pioneered a digital first business model, that was insanely fun. I also love the diversity of client work—GlaxoSmithKline, Wells Fargo —it's like I get to go to college over and over again. A gazillion years ago I tried to start an upscale dog magazine (if only I had launched online). Today, I am obsessed with all things Neuroscience, Mind-Body-Spirit, CBD & Cannabis and The Law of Attraction.
