Directed a team of 30 volunteers responsible for a variety of tasks that include staffing the Pantry, database management, social media outreach, picking up food, etc. Ensured that all tasks were completed on time and meet standards of the organization.Acted as the community spokesperson for the organization. NHWP is a statewide organization that provides programming, publications and networking opportunities for writers and readers of all levels.-Worked with the Board of Trustees and ad hoc committee members to set and meet strategic organizational goals for fundraising, program quality and enrollment, membership, marketing, publication distribution and staffing. -Cultivated and managed relationships with NH’s top foundations. 90% success rate in gaining funding through grant proposals. -Leveraged Board and member contacts to identify potential sponsors, trustees, donors and community partners. Increased individual giving by 30%, more than doubled sponsorship support and increased grant support by 50%.-Recruited nationally and internationally acclaimed authors to present for the reading and writing public of NH. Authors included US Poets Laureate, Pulitzer Prize winners, New York Times Bestsellers, and Nebula Award winners.-Engaged the leaders of more than 30 other organizations--major media outlets, performance venues, arts organizations and businesses--to help launch a series of regional literary festivals that increased public involvement in NHWP programming tenfold and opened up new streams of income. -Decreased marketing costs by taking advantage of online marketing avenues such as social media, email marketing, and a dynamic website.
