Responsible for press side quality control and consistency. Developed manufacturing and delivery schedules for each program that eliminated delivery errors. Prepared the annual budget for Midwest venues and quotes for specialty programs. Developed a system to manage monthly paper usage with printer. Reduced print costs by creating bimonthly programs. Responsible for the entire production function of ELLE Magazine including color separations, paper management, insert pricing, press impositions and color OKs. Supervised a staff of three and organized their efforts to produce a monthly issue (averaging 300 pages) more efficiently and on schedule. Developed film inspection and trafficking procedures that expedited processing of ads. Established insert pricing and design format that reduced bindery slowdown.
