In 1987, lead management operations of more than 6,000 units and 1 million square feet of retail and office space at Lampro Management, a division of Highridge Partners (based in California). During that time, the company merged with one of the largest fee management operations, Pinnacle Realty, and managed seven Regional Presidents and the Regional Training Program for 85,000 units in 35 states. In 1995, joined an owner operator in Dallas, Texas as a Regional Director and supervised properties in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona and Florida for 10 years. In 2010, co-founded Northstar Group with the CONTI Group to build an in-house management arm to oversee nearly 11,000 units in three cities. Served on the Executive Committee and Leadership Team as a decision maker in asset purchases, and cultivated the company’s culture and core values. The majority of the properties managed under Northstar were sold within a 13-month period ending in May 2022. Industry spokesperson for Motivational and Designation Programs for the National Apartment Association (NAA). Served as a Chairperson for the Certified Apartment Supervisors and Certified Apartment Manager Committees for the AAGD, and was instrumental in launching the Supervisors Council in 2003. Received the AAGD President’s Award in 2003 for contributions to the Education Program. Also served as a delegate for the TAA and NAA and served on the Board of Directors of the AAGD from 2004 to 2010.
