As a Talent Acquisition Business Manager, part of my role is to provide consulting services that revolve around engagement and service delivery. Giving those who are involved in the assessment and hiring of staff the right tools, best practices, and strategies to overcome obstacles to meeting their staffing objectives. Identify and leverage opportunities for offering insights to our customers by anticipating the positive or negative impact of emerging trends on their business. Assist business areas discover unrecognized problems and opportunities as well as the consequences of inaction. I support DSHS risk mitigation, provide guidance, tools, and processes for navigating assessment and interview steps. I also engage in workforce initiatives and process improvements related to selection and hiring processes. I work closely with our internal customers, providing customized hiring tools and selection & hiring process coaching for hiring teams, helping develop hiring supervisor and hiring team capabilities. Part of my role involves consulting in areas such as: Accelerating time-to-fill; Quality of hire; Addressing Bias in the selection process, and helping to develop internal support systems for selection and hiring.
