Extensive experience in executive management training within many locales including the Pacific Rim, Middle East and Latin America. Developed leadership programs, problem solving tools and methodologies and organizational and corporate communication programs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) and through extensive travels has acquired an appreciation and respect for different cultures throughout the world. Having spent over 13 years in the service industry I understand the importance of strategic planning and development to further an organizations talent base and growth potential. I have a profound appreciation for people and their cultures different from my own. At Northern Illinois University I was one of the first foreign exchange students before the programs were developed as they are today. I landed in a foreign country to live, learn a new language, and find my own way at the University of Mexico in Mexico City. After graduating with a double degree in Spanish Language and Literature and Corporate Communications, I sold time share condominiums in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. This led me back to the US working for Chili's Restaurants opening 65 new restaurants for Franchise Partners in Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Moving up through the ranks, as Franchise Training Director creating a Franchise Training Department at Corporate and a network throughout the franchise system in 20 countries, I learned the importance of communicating the organizations strategies and philosophies with passion and enthusiasm to spread the culture worldwide. I am also very passionate about health and wellness and believe in incorporating a consistent plan into our lifestyle to maintain well-being.
