As a young gal in Louisville, KY, I yearned for my voice to be heard. I remember being one of the kids chosen by a local radio news station to read my opinion piece on-air. That was my first foray into media. Fast forward to college. Coming from a single-parent household, I worked hard to pay for school. While attending the University of Louisville College of Business and working in music research for a top-rated radio station, I was asked to go 'on-air.' I accepted that opportunity, stayed in the research position and finished college, earning my BSBA degree. I had fun, met lifelong friends and gained invaluable experience doing it.A move to South Florida and being hired as a Field Director for Birch Research - a dream job with a radio ratings startup competitor to Arbitron - allowed me to prove myself. A series of management positions of increasing responsibility culminated in being named Product Manager for the company with direct responsibility for a distributed group of over 300 employees, nationwide markets and strategic direction.A cross-country move to the Bay Area brought about new projects. I signed with an agent, immediately booking On-Camera Corporate training projects. Soon after, I engaged in Voiceover at Voicetrax SF, Improv at A.C.T. and weekly Scene Study classes under Cliff Osmond. I was on my way to a successful, creative entrepreneurial venture. I've worked as a SAG-AFTRA Voice and On-Camera Actor since 1992. I currently also develop Social Media Content for Audio Description. I'm a storyteller, branding products through National and Regional advertising campaigns while also bringing a business acumen to Corporate projects. I build authentic long-term partnerships.
