I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a yearning to generate an improved experience for every patient, survivor, family member, and support person affected by the total experience of medical complexity. My greatest interests are in the psychosocial aspects of diagnosis and treatment, as well as the life-giving effects of improved mental wellbeing. I firmly believe the changes in my patients' mental health have contributed to their increased ability to participate in decision making and adhere to their treatment plan. Regardless of the patient, diagnosis, prognosis, age, or place in their journey, maximizing patient quality of life is my ultimate focus.
