North America's Infrastructure Services is a multi-billion dollar organization which provides cloud, managed services, and professional services. I led the team responsible for IBM's Infrastructure Services partnerships in North America including both remarkers and technology alliances. Through the creation of a new strategy which included revised incentives, improved offerings, increased partner support and enhanced accountability measures, we were able to increase re-marketing sales while decreasing the cost of the program. In addition, we developed mutually beneficial alliances with key industry providers (Cisco, Citrix, VMWARE, Zebra, Akamai, F5, Blackboard, etc.) by integrating the partner's offerings into IBM's managed services contracts.

IBM Resiliency Services provides managed and professional services to help achieve 100% availability. I led our multi-channel sales team to deliver over $500M in annual signings and revenue. Through talent engagement and development, we transformed from a traditional backup and recovery supplier to a cloud recovery team who consistently exceeded targets and led to the satisfaction of over 10,000 protected clients, including 100% success in recovery. In addition, our results through partners doubled.

In February, 2010, IBM launched an alliance with Johnson Controls to deliver smarter buildings and green data centers. The alliance partnered JCI's core competencies in energy and buildings with IBM’s capabilities in data centers, information management, analytics, and cloud. This entrepreneurial venture required visioning, contract negotiation, product offering development, proof of concept deployment, and global sales and marketing. This experience was leveraged to refine IBM's strategy in smarter cities and to develop new alliances in architecture, engineering, construction, and facilities management industries.

Prior to the sales of IBM's system x product line to Lenovo, I led the sales team in the Western United States. This role required changing the trajectory of $500M business. Prior to my appointment, the business unit had experienced declining sales and 20% employee turnover. Through new alliances, partner engagement, talent development and a new business strategy, we became the top performing unit in the world based on revenue, profit, and share gain, including 26% ytoy growth (7x market growth rate) and 100% employee retention. Partnerships helped us drive new logo wins and solution sales. A clarification of our multi-channel route strategy including resellers; direct and technical sellers; and telesales centers helped increased sales coverage. While this high-volume business experienced extraordinary challenges at times, we increased client satisfaction and employee morale.
