I joined Penningtons Manches in September 2013, having qualified in 2008.I provide tax advice for corporate acquisitions and disposals, reorganisations and restructurings and corporate finance. I also regularly advise on tax efficient investments such as EIS, SEIS and VCT and give tax structuring for a planned exit including advising on the availability of Entrepreneurs' Relief. My particular specialism is share incentives, I advise on all types of share incentives including enterprise management incentive (“EMI”) schemes, unapproved option schemes, company share option plans (“CSOPs”), long term incentive plans (“LTIPs”), growth shares and phantom share schemes. I work closely with a US Attorney to amend UK schemes to make them compatible with the incentive stock option scheme (“ISO”) in the US.
