Dr. Kathy Ann MacDougall is a seasoned Human Resources, business, and operations professional with expertise in transformational leadership. Dr. MacDougall has supported many diverse industries but enjoys the energy and challenge the manufacturing industry offers. Kathy most recently led the strategic HR alignment and environmental, health, and safety within PLI, a large commercial printer and a manufacturer of access key and gift cards. Before, as COO, Kathy was responsible for all business and people-related activities for the solar company Independent Energy Solutions. Kathy has been an HR Manager for a multimillion-dollar global manufacturer in California, where she was an active member of the facility leadership team and led efforts in learning and growth strategy. As VP of HR for Aptera, a start-up car company in Southern California, Kathy led the HR function. Kathy led continuous improvement in her previous role as General Manager for Luxfer Gas Cylinders, resulting in sustainable and repeatable operations. She was Lead Team Trainer for “Accountability Models for Team Leaders” and successfully managed a highly unionized environment. Also, the former Corporate Director of Human Resources, she was responsible for every aspect of Human Resource Management and EHS compliance for this sizeable international manufacturer.With leadership skills honed with her EdD in Organizational Leadership and an Executive MBA, Kathy is a superior negotiator, arbitrator, and mediator. Her highly developed interpersonal relations and communication skills are evidenced by her attention to detail and ability to compile data, analyze situations, project resources, and meet goals. Dr. MacDougall brings over 20 years of professional HR and business leadership and management and has operationally managed facilities in multiple states.
