I am passionate about design and architecture and have always been interested in visiting interesting spaces were people tend to meet to see how design impacts on the ambience and experience. I'm fortunate that my work as a Furniture, Fittings & Equipment Consultant is an extension of my passions especially as I enter the 12th year of my own business. The early part of my career was in the hospitality industry. A significant role was Manager, FF&E for ACCOR Hotels during their expansion in Australia, NZ & Japan. I developed competencies to assist me in my career and my business: meticulous organisational skills, capability to establish processes, flexibility and commitment to deliver projects regardless of size. In 2007, I was inspired to start my own business with encouragement from previous clients and peers and I haven’t looked back. I am privileged to still work with all of my early clients and my ongoing results and reputation allow me to further build and grow my client base and project portfolio. My projects are predominately in hospitality, aged care and the commercial sector. My service practices set me apart from others in FF&E: 1. I am a professional FF&E Consultant with experience and knowledge to complete every stage of the project from initial budgeting and project feasibility to overseeing placement and fit-out.2. I have an excellent eye for detail and functionality and provide value management on design selection for fabrics and furniture3. I work on a fee for service basis with all other costs delivered on an open book basis. My procurement and project management services are 100% transparent. I read an article recently highlighting practical attributes of business integrity and these truly underpin my business values: meet your commitments; honest to a fault; firm but fair; have a strong and consistent moral code; treat everyone with respect and build and maintain trust.
