I’ve been “branding” before I even knew what it was – telling stories with words and pictures since I was a child. Over the years that grew into my passion for bringing out the essence – of people, businesses, books, events, organizations. What I’ve come to realize is that branding is the purest, most concise form of storytelling. It has the power to share who we are and what we do. Every business owner has an important story and that makes your business unique. Your story and your brand have the power to touch people.I began my career as an associate editor at Doubleday, working on arts and special interest books. Later I moved to San Francisco, managed the publishing arm for an educational nonprofit, edited and produced books, and was a founding team member for an award-winning magazine. I’ve always loved traveling and my work in nonprofit took me all over the world. I produced and marketed events in the US and Europe, recruited and managed production teams, and developed marketing strategies and branded materials.I have also started small businesses myself – an integrative health center, a concert production company, and my branding and marketing agency. I bring a creative and problem-solving perspective to everything I do.
