I am serving as a Subject Matter Expert on aging services, making appropriate connections for the Playtabase staff and building relationships to support strategic initiatives.

Managing a component of the Palliative Care Initiative that will help ensure consumers are knowledgeable about palliative care and have access to information regarding their applicable health plan benefits. Responsible for developing a consumer guide and website information that will allow consumers to easily access health plan contacts. Working with health plans to ensure their customer service representatives are able to provide patient centered responses.

Healthsense Care Alliance (HCA) is a membership organization providing best practices and advanced training for users of Healthsense technology enabled care. HCA is an organization of innovators and leaders in the field of senior care. Our members share a vision of providing best-in-class aging services to our seniors. HCA’s protocol combines the best of personal caregiving with new healthcare technology tools. Responsible for the overall management of HCA. • Responsible for overall management, including development of legal documents, membership materials and start-up budget, managing finances, establishing a broad range of organizational procedures and creating a membership database• Developed and analyzed strategic business model options for the organization and made recommendation to the board of governors• Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with potential funders and industry innovators• Oversee membership outreach and responsible for creation of marketing materials • Build awareness of technology-enabled care for aging in place through networking and presentations• Managed final editing and developed strategic direction for execution of the Best Practices Guide

Developed and maintained valuable relationships to enhance the member recruitment, retention and engagement efforts of physicians, residents and medical students. The membership goal was met 7 of 8 years through implementation of a customer-centric model. Planned and executed well planned Annual Meetings, which included House of Delegates, Reference Committees, educational sessions, awards and Presidential Inauguration. Responsibility included site selection, contract negotiation, speaker selection and the coordination of a host of details to ensure that the multiple day event ran smoothly. Implemented significant enhancements for the meeting to reach a broader audience.Served as the staff liaison for the Membership and Communications Committee, Component Medical Society Workgroup, Annual Meeting Workgroup and Membership Task Force. This involved creating the committee charge, working collaboratively with the Chair to determine the priority issues, providing information required for decision making and serving as the key communicator with all committee members. Strategic planning process that included re-defining the organization’s priorities and strategies to best meet the needs of members.Responsible for hiring, on-boarding and managing exempt and non-exempt staff. Managed the integrity of the membership database, dues processing, continuing medical education program and project management, such as: • Re-branding initiative, including logo design, message development and implementation• Organization of Component Medical Societies - studied the legal liability issues, function and structure of the local medical societies and guided the workgroup to a recommendation that was a win-win solution for societies and MMA• Managing the complex Annual Meetings

Planned and managed a wide variety of programs and services designed to enhance the lives of people with MS. Collaborated on the development of a ground-breaking housing project that includes residential, respite care and day activity program. Developed plan of operations and budget. Implemented cost efficiencies, allowing society to impact the lives of more clients.

Developed and implemented marketing strategies and oversaw the public relations and customer relations to grow the long-term care business. Led the joint marketing coordination of four sister companies. Received National Excellent Sales Award, Spring 1996.

Responsible for increasing the $1 million dues revenue, through member recruitment and retention. Managed and promoted a $6 million volume group purchasing program and other special projects.
