CurrentTrademarks: Electronically file trademark applications, extensions, submit Office Action Responses and electronically record Assignments with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”); assist attorneys with oppositions filed with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board; assist attorneys with filings with the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (“UDRP”), protecting clients' trademark rights; file various copyright applications with the U.S. Copyright Office; prepare Status Reports for clients; process and docket all correspondence regarding both foreign and U.S. trademarks; forward trademark/domain name enforcement correspondence to infringing parties, etc.Patents: Electronically file design, provisional and utility patent applications and all necessary forms, including Application Data Sheet, Power of Attorney, Information Disclosure Statements, Assignments, Office Action Responses, Appeal Briefs as well as submit Issue Fees/Maintenance Fees, etc. with the USPTO; proof drawings, order patent file histories, as well as prepare and forward correspondence regarding same. Miscellaneous: Follow-up with clients, run docket reports for attorneys and review the dockets for upcoming deadlines; updating attorney calendars to reflect upcoming deadlines; revise various technology contracts and/or agreements, open new client/matter numbers, set-up files, receive incoming calls, coordinates travel arrangements, billing, etc. I also assist other attorneys with workload when their assistant is out of the office. I have also maintained the IP Section American Express Credit Card and USPTO Deposit Accounts to reconcile the statements every month for all the offices of Haynes and Boone, LLP.Labor and Employment: I have six years’ prior experience working in the Labor and Employment Section on various litigation and ERISA matters.
