I have the pleasure and privilege of leading the customer experience, marketing and corporate partnerships function at Asthma Australia. Working with a team of highly talented humans, I have led the rebranding and repositioning of the organisation, delivering strong results in the brand and engagement area. I am currently leading the development and implementation of our Customer Experience program and organisational digital transformation program. I am passionate about helping others and driven to helping to improve the lives of people with asthma. I am an established, award-winning marketing and customer experience professional with experience across a range of industries, disciplines and channels.Starting my career in a full-service agency, I worked with large consumer brands, behaviour change campaigns and not-for-profits across a range of industries including mining, government and FMCG. These campaigns were with highly dynamic, fast paced and innovative clients. I was humbled (and a little embarrassed!) to win the coveted PRIA’s New Practitioner of the Year while in this role.After being headhunted, I delivered re-branding and re-positioning strategies, and an internal communications change project for an industry-focused mining organisation. I attracted large corporate sponsorship and delivered multiple award-winning industry events in this role. As part of a team, I received multiple awards for innovative marketing and communication campaigns.Seeking a chance to “do more,” I moved to well-known Brisbane charity Youngcare, where after a short stint in the fundraising area, I led a team of marketing and fundraising professionals to deliver brand campaigns, fundraising events, managed large corporate sponsors, large PR campaigns innovative social media strategies. In this space, my work was formally recognised by Facebook as the first successful of cause-related marketing on Facebook (in Australia).After starting a family, I spent four years working as a freelance marketing communications consultant with a wide variety of clients, but with a focus on small business. Delivering social media, PR, digital marketing, website development, organisational change communications, brand work, email marketing and general marketing communications for a range of businesses, including a collective impact, place-based project in Logan.
