Kathy Sarafian was the CEO of Drive Medical Canada for 8 years, subsidiary of a private company headquartered in New York. Drive is one of the fastest growing companies in Home Medical Equipment industry. Passionate to set new standards in the Canadian market, Kathy turned around Drive’s image, profitability, internal culture and acquired HME brands of AMG, one of its top competitors after 6 years. Kathy is a transformational leader passionate about building a high performing team and culture based on positivity and growth mindset.Prior to Drive, Kathy was founder of a coaching and consulting company called Integrity of Vision with specific focus on “mastering the soft skills that drive the hard numbers”. Her leadership and coaching style became highly differentiated when she focused for 6 years on the science of positive psychology, as the President of AMO Canada, a subsidiary of a global entity now owned by J&J. Under Kathy’s leadership, AMO Canada integrated two major acquisitions with Pfizer and Visx and became the fastest growing and most profitable subsidiary of AMO.As a graduate of the Schulich honors business program, Kathy was the first undergrad recruited by P&G after 17 years. From P&G, she moved into the Vision Care industry spending 10 years with Allergan on a fast track career development program. She completed the YPO Harvard program in January of 2011 along with 100 other CEO's.Kathy was involved as a board member and advisor for 6 years with WE organization. She also served on the board of Kensington Health and has been a Life Science Advisor at MaRS. She has been a member of YPO (Young President’s Organization) since 2005 and has been serving on the chapter and the National Canadian Board (as educational chair) for 5 years.Due to her work experience and passion, Kathy's expertise is in Strategy, Sales/Marketing, Positive Intelligence Coaching, Leadership, and creating a unique culture based on the principles of Positive Psychology.
