Kathy and has unparalleled expertise advising hospitals and health systems, especially in the Certificate of Need process. Kathy also provides communications counsel to national, regional and state associations on advocacy and legislative issues. Kathy is recognized as an expert in media training and coaches CEOs and other executives so they excel in interviews, speeches and presentations.Born with a penchant for asking why, Kathy pursued a career in journalism and was a news reporter for 10 years before becoming a public relations consultant. Kathy has expressed her commitment to the community by serving on the board of directors of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, La Rabida Children's Hospital, and the Aid Society of the First United Methodist Church of Chicago. Today, she serves on the board of directors and is an on-ship volunteer instructor and crew member for the Inland Seas Education Association in Suttons Bay, Michigan.
